Hiring Process:   IBM hires both fresh engineering and management graduates. Freshers are usually hired through campus placement. The BE, B.Tech, ME. M.Tech and MCA graduates with minimum 65% marks are considered for engineering roles and the fresher selection process for engineering graduates involves written aptitude test, group discussion and personal interview. PGDBM and MBA degree holders are considered for management roles and the selection process consists of group discussions, case study and personal interview. Lateral hires are considered against the specific job openings and the selection process consists of 3-4 technical and HR round of interviews.


Remuneration : The starting salary package for trainee software engineer is around INR 2 to 4 lakh per annum. It also offers cash bonus, stock options and profit sharing incentives for higher performance.

    Advice to Management:
    Management needs to focus more on how to retain its employees who seek better compensation.
    HR policies are not so employee friendly. HR department works very slowly but still they have being efficient could provide better response time
